I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one! We know that Kaleb is captured at the end of Ice and it tears Jade apart. Anyway, the start of the book has a very surprising twist. Kaleb's capturer and torturer is someone very close to him. The torture scenes and subsequent re-telling from what Kaleb remembers after being rescued are graphic and so bad. Those scenes in the beginning are intense. The book then takes on the revenge plot and what a telling story this ends up being.
Jade and Kaleb have finally established that they are head over heels in love with each other and the chemistry between the two is nothing short of magnetic. This story is jam-packed with mystery, surprises, romance, hot alpha, and miltary men stomping on anyone who get in their way to find Kaleb's attacker.
This review is a toughy, so I'm leaving it like this. I don't want to give anything away because this story is just so awesome you need to read it for yourself.
Side-note, yes, you need to read Ice before you read Fire, otherwise you will have no idea what is going on.
